Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager– QC

Akij Venture Group is looking for a competent and experienced Asst. Manager / Dy. Manager – QC for a Fisheries Development / Aquaculture Project. The position will be responsible for ensuring quality control, compliance, monitoring, and implementation standards of project activities in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure quality standards in project implementation and fisheries activities.

• Conduct regular field inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring.

• Prepare quality control reports, documentation, and corrective action plans.

• Coordinate with project teams to maintain operational and technical standards.

• Support development and implementation of QC procedures, guidelines, and checklists.

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and government regulations.

• Assist in training field staff on quality assurance and compliance issues.

• Monitor utilization of project materials, inputs, and operational processes.

• 5 to 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Fisheries

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)

• Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Food Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.

• Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.

• Age At least 28 years

• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Ability to travel frequently to project areas.
