Cluster Capex & Investment Manager/Sr Manager

Job Purpose

The Cluster Cost Analyzer – CAPEX & Investment will be responsible for monitoring capital expenditures, investment performance, project cost governance, fixed asset management, and ensuring efficient utilization of capital investments across assigned Strategic Business Units (SBUs).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CAPEX spending against approved budgets and project authorizations.

• Track project-wise CAPEX progress, cost utilization, and budget variances.

• Ensure timely conversion of Capital Work-in-Progress (CWIP) into Fixed Assets upon project completion.

• Maintain and monitor the Fixed Asset Register, including asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, and physical verification.

• Ensure accurate calculation and allocation of depreciation in compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.

• Analyze CAPEX and fixed asset variances and recommend corrective actions to improve asset efficiency.

• Prepare CAPEX, CWIP, Fixed Asset, and Depreciation reports and dashboards for management review.

• Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Operations, and Finance teams to strengthen CAPEX governance and fixed asset management.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), IT Enabled Service, Shipping, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Packaging Industry, Cement Industry, Steel

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline from a reputed university.

• Professional Accounting Qualification (CA/CMA/ACCA/CPA) – Partly Qualified or Qualified will be preferred.

• Age At least 33 years

• 3–5 years of managerial experience in CAPEX Management, Fixed Asset Accounting, Project Finance, Investment Analysis, FP&A, or Management Reporting.

• Experience in manufacturing, infrastructure, agribusiness, or large corporate organizations will be an added advantage.
