Asst. Engineer (Civil)

Job Summary:

• Supervise daily site activities.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor quality of construction.
• Coordinate contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor plumbing, electrical, and civil works.
• Prepare daily progress reports.
• Ensure workplace safety compliance.
• Verify materials and measurements.

The Site Engineer will be responsible for:

• Supervising all daily construction activities according to approved architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Checking setting-out, dimensions, levels, alignment, reinforcement, formwork and embedded services before construction or concrete casting.
• Monitoring the quality of concrete, steel, cement, bricks, sand, waterproofing and finishing materials.
• Ensuring construction complies with RAJUK-approved plans, BNBC 2020, BOQ and technical specifications.
• Coordinating contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and site workers.
• Preparing daily work plans and monitoring progress against the approved project schedule.
• Enforcing site safety, PPE, housekeeping, scaffolding and safe working procedures.
• Measuring completed work, verifying contractor bills and controlling material usage and wastage.
• Maintaining daily progress reports, test results, inspection records, site photographs and as-built information.
• Identifying defects, delays and technical problems and arranging timely corrective action.
• Preventing unauthorized changes; all structural modifications must receive written approval from the appointed Structural Engineer.
• Preparing snag lists and supporting final testing, handover, completion reports and Occupancy Certificate documentation.

• 5 to 7 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms, Architecture Firm, Interior Design, Escalator/Elevator/Lift, HVAC System, Developer, Building & Construction Materials

• Diploma in Civil in Structural

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.

• Age 25 to 35 years

• 5 to 7 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Developer, Real Estate

Skills & Expertise:

• AutoCAD 2D 3D Autodesk,
• STAAD Pro,
• ETABS and other design software,
• BOQ,
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, structural design, and site development.
