Deputy Manager - Finance & Accounts

We are looking for a highly competent Deputy Manager, Finance & Accounts who will be responsible for financial reporting, tax compliance, monitoring salary preparation and overall commercial functions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in financial management and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.

• Prepare and submit tax returns, ensure compliance with VAT & Tax regulations.

• Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in salary disbursement.

• Prepare periodic MIS reports for management decision-making.

• Handle banking, LCs and vendor payments efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Accounting Standards (BAS), IFRS and corporate tax laws.

• Assist in internal & external audits and ensure strong financial control measures.

• Assist in financial planning, budgeting and expense monitoring.

• Work closely with internal teams, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Department Incharge or Management authority.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks, Investment/Merchant Banking, Manufacturing (FMCG), Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Share Brokerage/ Securities House, Financial Technology (Fintech) Startup, Land Management

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Accounting & Information System, Finance

• Master’s degree may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates.
