Executive-HR for Garment Factory
Job Description
Execute recruitment process for workers and staffs including screening, initial interviewing, and onboarding.
Complete onboarding formalities, and conduct orientation programs for newly hired employees.
Prepare employee personal files and maintain HR database.
Monitor daily attendance, leave, absenteeism, overtime, and manpower status; generate regular reports for management.
Coordinate with the Industrial Engineering (IE) team to track worker performance, skill development, and productivity improvement initiatives.
Assist in payroll preparation, salary processing, and timely record update in HR Software.
Prepare HR-related letters, reports, notices, employment contracts, confirmation letters, transfer letters, warning letters, and other documentation as required.
Conduct regular counseling sessions to reduce absenteeism, improve discipline, and enhance worker performance.
Manage employee separation processes, including resignation, termination, final settlement, clearance, and exit documentation.
Support compliance audits by maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring readiness of compliance-related documents.
Conduct regular factory floor visits to monitor employee discipline, attendance, workplace environment, and overall workforce well-being.
Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and workplace organization in production, office, and common areas in coordination with relevant departments.
Coordinate with Production, IE, Accounts, Compliance, and Head Office HR teams to ensure smooth HR operations.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Act, Bangladesh Labor Rules, buyer requirements, and company policies.
Experience
- 2 to 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Buying House
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
Bachelor`s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or any related discipline.
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 25 years
- Only Male
Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Act and Labor Rules.
Good understanding of compliance standards (BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, Accord/RSC, etc.).
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Positive attitude, integrity, and willingness to work in a factory environment.
