Job Description

Job Context:

We are seeking a highly experienced Manager – Embroidery to lead and manage all embroidery operations in our garments accessori manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, production execution, quality assurance, machine utilization, and on-time delivery while ensuring buyer requirements are met.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the entire embroidery production process to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

  • Prepare production plans and allocate workloads based on order priorities and delivery schedules.

  • Ensure embroidery quality meets buyer specifications, approved artwork, and production standards.

  • Coordinate with Merchandising, Sample, Production, Planning, QA, and Maintenance teams to achieve on-time shipment.

  • Monitor machine efficiency, operator productivity, and production targets to maximize output.

  • Troubleshoot embroidery-related technical issues and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Optimize machine utilization, thread consumption, and material usage to minimize production costs and wastage.

  • Ensure proper embroidery file verification, sample approval, and color matching before bulk production.

  • Maintain production records, daily reports, and KPI monitoring for continuous performance improvement.

  • Lead, train, and motivate supervisors, operators, and supporting staff to enhance productivity and quality.

  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, 5S, and company policies throughout the embroidery department.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.

Experience

  • 8 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Garments Accessories

Education

    • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Textile Engineering Preferred)

Additional Requirements

  • Age 35 to 40 years
  • Only Male
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in the Embroidery Department of a reputed garments manufacturing company.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role will be preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of computerized embroidery machines and production planning.

  • Excellent understanding of embroidery techniques, thread types, fabric behavior, and quality standards.

  • Ability to manage large production teams and meet tight shipment deadlines.

  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
