Job Summary

The Field Officer is responsible for implementing livelihood activities at the community level, ensuring effective beneficiary support, monitoring business progress, and achieving project objectives through regular field engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct community outreach, needs assessments, and identify eligible beneficiaries according to the project selection criteria.

  • Collect, verify, and maintain beneficiary profiles, supporting documents, and project records.

  • Facilitate beneficiary orientation, livelihood planning, and capacity-building activities.

  • Organize meeting, workshop and training in the respective project areas.

  • Coordinate with project staffs, volunteers, and community leaders in the field for the implementation of the project.

  • Assist beneficiaries in preparing business plans and selecting suitable income-generating activities (IGAs).

  • Support beneficiaries in opening bank accounts, completing financial transactions, and maintaining proper banking records.

  • Coordinate the procurement and distribution of livelihood assets, equipment, and business inputs.

  • Conduct regular household and business visits to monitor progress, identify challenges, and provide technical guidance and mentoring.

  • Organize weekly or monthly group meetings to promote entrepreneurship, financial literacy, savings, business management, and social awareness.

  • Monitor business performance, working capital, income, savings, and repayment compliance where applicable.

  • Maintain accurate beneficiary databases, attendance records, monitoring reports, case studies, and success stories.

  • Strengthen linkages between beneficiaries and relevant government departments, financial institutions, MFIs, local markets, and service providers.

  • Facilitate technical training on small business management, organize Entrepreneurship training, agriculture, livestock, poultry, tailoring, or other livelihood sectors as required.

  • Resolve beneficiary concerns and provide timely referrals or support to ensure effective project implementation.

  • Collect monitoring data and prepare monthly, and quarterly progress reports for the Program Manager.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, safeguarding principles, and accountability standards during project implementation.

  • Perform any other project-related duties assigned by the Program Manager or Country Office to support successful implementation.

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Education

    • Masters
  • Post Graduated

  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience in the Development Sector
