Head of Card Operations (AVP to SAVP)

Lead and oversee end-to-end Card Operations, ensuring efficient, secure, and customer-focused service delivery.

Manage card issuance, activation, personalization, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, dispute management, and related operational activities.

Ensure compliance with applicable Bangladesh Bank regulations, card scheme rules, internal policies, AML/CFT requirements, and relevant regulatory guidelines.

Monitor and strengthen operational controls, fraud risk management, transaction monitoring, and information security relating to card operations.

Coordinate effectively with card networks (e.g., Visa/Mastercard), vendors, technology teams, branches, business units, and other stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted card services.

Drive process improvement, automation, operational efficiency, and service quality while leading and developing the Card Operations team.

Minimum 10 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial/ similar role with substantial exposure to Card Operations within a bank or financial institution.

Proven experience in managing modern technology-based Card Operations systems, including digital card platforms, card processing systems, payment technologies, and operational automation.

Sound understanding of Bangladesh Bank regulations and international card payment ecosystem.

Age not exceeding 45 years as of August 15, 2026. The age limit may be relaxed based on relevant experience.

Educational Requirements:

Graduation/ post-graduation degree from a reputed university, preferably in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering; with no third division/ class or equivalent CGPA throughout the academic career.

Relevant IT/Technology background or professional exposure to technology-driven payment and card systems as well as any professional certification in banking, payments, cards, or related fields will be considered an advantage.
