Job Description
Field Facilitator:
Field Facilitator is the direct field-level project staff member. The purpose of this position is to facilitate & implement the project field-level activities, which are achieved as stated in the project description format and the agreement with IOM Bangladesh, consistent with BJMAS management guidelines and administrative and financial rules in practice.
Duties Responsibilities:
Organize and facilitate awareness-raising sessions on counter trafficking issues at the FDMN camps and host communities in Cox’s Bazar Sadar areas.
Maintain communication with Site Management at FDMN Camps, Camp Authorities, and Local Government, Union Parishad, Police Station, and relevant organizations at host communities.
Supporting the Upazila Coordinator in all aspects of the project implementation and development as requested.
Preparing day-to-day event reports, monthly reports, and others as required or assigned.
Respond immediately to the needs of any victims of trafficking identified by BJMAS in the host communities in Cox’s Bazar areas.
Maintain communication with site management, Protection actors. and appropriate authority in the FDMN camps, Local Government, Police Station, and other relevant stakeholders.
Represent the organization in different meeting/seminar/forum if asked for.
Prepare weekly and monthly individual plans for implementation.
Conduct any other activities required by the management of BJMAS.
Any other job as & when assigned by the Management.
Authority to submit money requisition and take money advance.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Professional Certificate or training on Human Trafficking, Legal Aids, Camp Management, CBP will get preference.
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 40 years
Specialized experience in Trafficking in national or international organizations- If temporary, specify the period.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, etc.
Knowledge of the local context in the Rohingya community.
Ability to work with a team.
Fluency in relevant languages (English, Bengali), sound knowledge of the Rohingya/local language will be given preference.
