Officer - Canteen Management
Job Description
Q-Center is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and administrative-minded professional for the position of Officer - Canteen Management. The selected officer will be fully responsible for overseeing daily canteen operations, managing kitchen and floor staff, ensuring impeccable hygiene standards, handling vendor relationships, and delivering seamless food service for employees, visitors, and guest events at Q-Center.
Key Responsibilities & Job Duties
Overall Canteen & Floor Operations: Direct and oversee all daily canteen activities, including meal scheduling, live food station management, floor organization, and service efficiency to maintain high standards of dining experience.
Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Manage relations with food suppliers and third-party caterers, supervise raw material purchasing/requisitions, conduct quality checks on received items, and minimize inventory loss or wastage.
Hygiene, Health & Safety Compliance: Strictly enforce clean-as-you-go practices, waste management routines, food handler safety, and general sanitation standards across all food preparation, storage, and service areas.
Administrative & Financial Control: Maintain daily meal logs, track food expenditures, manage store and inventory registers, reconcile daily sales/meal counts, and process vendor billing accurately.
Menu Planning & Event Support: Collaborate with management to design nutritious, varied, and cost-effective daily menu cycles, while coordinating catering needs for corporate events, meetings, and special functions hosted at Q-Center.
Staff Leadership & Training: Supervise, schedule, and guide canteen support personnel (cooks, helpers, cleaners, counter staff) to foster high productivity, discipline, and customer-centric service delivery.
Experience
- 4 to 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hotel, Group of Companies
Education
Additional Requirements
- Age 26 to 40 years
- Only Male
Strong leadership, conflict management, and administrative coordination abilities.
Sound knowledge of food hygiene regulations and basic inventory bookkeeping/math skills.
Proactive attitude, high personal integrity, and ability to thrive under high-volume service periods.
