BOQ Engineer

Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for interior design and fit-out projects.

Review architectural, interior, structural, and MEP drawings to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.

Prepare cost estimates, material quantities, labor requirements, and project budgets.

Analyze project specifications, drawings, and scope of work.

Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.

Prepare rate analysis and evaluate material and execution costs.

Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to verify project requirements.

Track changes in project scope and update BOQs and cost estimates accordingly.

Assist in budget monitoring, cost control, and variation assessment.

Maintain accurate records of project costing, BOQs, quotations, and related documentation.

Graduate or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.

3–5 years of relevant experience in BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, estimation, or interior fit-out projects.

Strong knowledge of quantity analysis, rate analysis, and cost estimation.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.

Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other relevant software.

Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, construction methods, and market pricing.

Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and communication skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience in interior fit-out or construction projects will be highly preferred.
