Job Description

Operational Supervision

  • Supervise daily airport operations, including passenger handling, boarding, arrivals, departures, and turnaround activities.

  • Ensure smooth coordination of flight operations and adherence to established service standards.

  • Monitor operational performance and take corrective actions to minimize disruptions and delays.

  • Allocate manpower effectively to ensure optimum operational efficiency.

Passenger Service Management

  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all touchpoints.

  • Handle passenger complaints, service recovery situations, and special assistance requirements.

  • Supervise check-in, boarding gate, baggage service, and arrival processes.

Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with airport regulations, aviation security requirements, and company policies.

  • Conduct regular operational briefings and safety awareness sessions.

  • Report and document operational irregularities, incidents, and safety concerns promptly.

  • Participate in emergency response activities and contingency planning.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and motivate frontline employees to achieve operational targets.

  • Provide on-the-job coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.

  • Monitor attendance, discipline, grooming, and adherence to workplace standards.

  • Assist in training and developing team members.

Coordination and Communication

  • Liaise with airlines, airport authorities, ground handling agencies, immigration, customs, and other stakeholders.

  • Coordinate aircraft turnaround activities to ensure on-time performance.

  • Maintain effective communication during operational disruptions and irregular operations.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare operational reports, shift reports, and incident reports.

  • Maintain accurate records of operational activities and manpower deployment.

  • Monitor operational KPIs and submit reports to management.

Resource Management

  • Ensure proper utilization of equipment and operational resources.

  • Report equipment defects and coordinate timely maintenance support.

  • Support cost-control initiatives without compromising safety and service quality.

Experience

  • 5 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline

Education

    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Additional Requirements

  • Age 35 to 45 years

Ability to work on a rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Willingness to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.

Strong sense of accountability, professionalism, and customer orientation.

Physically fit and capable of responding effectively during emergencies.
