Assistant Manager, Supply Chain (Planning)
Job Description
Drive S&OP work with sales, brand & trade marketing, production, supply chain and distribution teams to align demand and supply plans.
Monitor SKU-wise inventory status, stock movement, stock out risk, slow moving stock, and replenishment requirements.
Follow up on production plans, supply schedules, dispatch status and delivery priorities to ensure timely product availability.
Track forecast vs actual sales variance and highlight major gaps for corrective planning.
Prepare regular demand, supply, inventory, stock-out, pending order and service level reports for management review.
Prepare 6 months supply plan of FG to meet S&OP forecasts, sales trends and business requirements.
Execute accurate monthly material requirement plan (MRP) and provide RM/PM requisitions with a 6 month planning horizon.
Ensure RM/PM availability to support production and unconstraint demands.
Prepare and maintain BI dashboards delivering insights into sales, inventory, SKU performance, and channel profitability.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Cosmetics/Toiletries/Personal Care, Healthcare/Lifestyle product
Education
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
- Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Supply Chain Management
Additional Requirements
- Age 22 to 32 years
Experience in Demand/Supply/Material/Production Planning.
Driving S&OP and stakeholder management.
Proficiency in ERP/Supply Chain systems (SAP or equivalent).
Advanced MS excel, data analysis capabilities.
Inventory Management Expertise.
