Project Engineer

ActionAid Bangladesh is looking for suitable candidate for the following position: Project Engineer

• Project: Sustainable Solution and protection for the Rohingya Refugee Community in Camps (funded by UNHCR) Project

• Type of contract: Fixed term contract

• Duration of Contract: Up to 31 December 2026 (if not extended)

Job Context

• The Project Engineer will be responsible for assessing centers, preparing BOQ, overseeing the quality and technical soundness of construction activities under the project, including the Women Centre and other infrastructure components. The role requires hands-on supervision of construction work, verification of materials against specifications and Bill of Quantities (BoQ), and close collaboration with the Senior Engineer on design, estimation, and implementation. The Project Engineer will also provide technical guidance to Rohingya Cash for Work (CFW) laborers and ensure that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with project standards, timelines, and safety protocols.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
• Diploma in Civil

• Bachelor`s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related technical field.

• Age At least 22 years

• Salary and benefits: Monthly Gross Salary BDT. 99,204 with other admissible benefits such as mobile & internet allowance, medical benefit, group life insurance etc
