ActionAid Bangladesh is looking for suitable candidate for the following position: MHPSS Counsellor

• Project: Sustainable Solution and protection for the Rohingya Refugee Community in Camps (funded by UNHCR) Project

• Type of contract: Fixed term contract

• Duration of Contract: Up to 31 December 2026 (if not extended)

Job Context

• The MHPSS Counselor will provide critical mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) to survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), offering counseling services, conducting assessments, and supporting the case management team. Their role includes building project staff capacity on MHPSS, facilitating individual and group counseling, ensuring psychological well-being, and promoting mental health among survivors. The counselor will also provide training to staff and maintain close collaboration with other service providers to ensure comprehensive and effective services.

• 3 to 4 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Bachelor of Social Science (BSS)

• Graduate or equivalent degree in social science, psychology, clinical social work, or a related field.

• Age At least 22 years

• Salary and benefits: Monthly Gross Salary BDT. 46,567 with other admissible benefits such as mobile & internet allowance, medical benefit, group life insurance etc
