Manager, IT & Broadcast

Virgo Media Limited (Channel 9), a leading private Satellite Television Channel is looking for energetic & proactive individual for the following positions:

IT Management

• Oversee the planning, implementation, maintenance, and security of all IT systems and infrastructure.
• Manage network operations, servers, storage, cloud services, and cybersecurity measures.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related procurement and support.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
• Manage and supervise all broadcast technology and transmission systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted on-air operations and compliance with broadcasting standards.
• Oversee maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of broadcast equipment and automation systems.
• Support live productions, studio operations, newsrooms, and special broadcast events.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and programming teams to optimize broadcast workflows.
• Implement new broadcast technologies and digital transformation initiatives.

• 5 to 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Public Relation Companies

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering

• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Professional certifications in networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or broadcast technology will be considered an advantage.

• Age At least 30 years

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management and/or broadcast engineering.

• Prior experience in television broadcasting, media, or related industries will be highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of broadcast automation systems, transmission technologies, networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity.

Direct experience in the Television Channel will be preferred for the post.
