Manager -Tender
Job Description
Prepare EOI and RFP proposals for Government, Autonomous Bodies, Development Partners, and other public sector organizations in compliance with applicable procurement guidelines.
Identify and monitor tender opportunities through e-GP, BPPA, and other government, autonomous, donor-funded, and private procurement portals.
Prepare, review, and submit complete Technical & Financial Proposals, EOIs (Expression of Interest), RFPs (Request for Proposal), and tender documents for Works, Supply, and Consultancy projects.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Project teams to collect technical, commercial, and statutory documents.
Prepare BOQ analysis, cost estimation, bid pricing, compliance statements, vendor quotations, and complete bid documentation.
Ensure compliance with PPA 2006, PPR 2008, e-GP procedures, and client requirements throughout the bidding process.
Liaise with government agencies, consultants, clients, suppliers, and business partners regarding tender-related activities.
Prepare tender status reports, business development reports, customer visit reports, and monthly progress reports for management.
Identify new business opportunities, build strategic client relationships, and support business development initiatives.
Maintain an organized database of tender documents, contracts, project references, and statutory records.
Visit client offices and project sites across Bangladesh whenever required.
Experience
- 7 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Trading or Export/Import, Engineering Firms, Gas, Power
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering
Additional Requirements
- Age 30 to 45 years
- Only Male
Relevant experience in tender management, proposal development, or business development.
Proven experience in handling Works, Supply, and Consultancy tenders through the Bangladesh e-GP System.
Experience in Power, Energy, Infrastructure, Roads & Highways, Railway, Oil & Gas, Water Resources, or Industrial sectors will be given preference.
