Sr. Manager – Transport & Distribution

Job Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing the Company's transport and distribution operations to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective movement of goods from factories to customers and distribution points.

1. Develop efficient transport and distribution models to optimize cost and service.

2. Arrange and deploy commercial trucks for product distribution from factories.

3. Manage fleet operations across multiple locations, ensuring optimum vehicle utilization.

4. Monitor Vehicle Tracking and Fuel Tracking Systems to improve operational efficiency and control costs.

5. Develop and implement SOPs for transport and distribution operations.

6. Manage transport vendors and negotiate competitive service agreements.

7. Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of the Company's commercial fleet to ensure maximum vehicle availability, reliability, and roadworthiness.

8. Coordinate with factories, warehouses, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted logistics support.

9. Monitor transport KPIs and prepare operational analyses and monthly management reports.

10. Manage driver operations, including deployment, scheduling, attendance, performance monitoring, and discipline to ensure safe and efficient transport services.

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)

• Age At least 32 years
• Only Male

• Proven experience in commercial fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, driver management, and transport vendor management.

• Hands-on experience with GPS-based Vehicle Tracking Systems and Fuel Management Systems.

• Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
