Cutting Manager/Sr. Manager

• Job location – Madanpur, Bandar, Narayanganj.

• 8 to 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company, Garments, Textile, Real Estate, Group of Companies, Garments Accessories, Educational Technology (Edtech) Startup

• Bachelor/Honors
• Masters

• Age 35 to 40 years

The applicant should have experience in the following area(s): Cutting Department.

Additional requirements:

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the Cutting Department of a reputed garments factory, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.

• Strong knowledge of fabric consumption, marker efficiency, lay planning, and cut planning.

• Hands-on experience with CAD marker systems and modern cutting machines.

• Ability to control fabric wastage and ensure maximum productivity.

• Strong leadership, team management, and manpower planning skills.

• Capable of coordinating effectively with Merchandising, Planning, Production, IE, and Quality teams.

• Sound knowledge of fabric inspection, shade management, numbering, bundling, and reconciliation.

• Good understanding of buyer compliance, SOP, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and workplace safety.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet shipment deadlines.

• Skills & competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Strong understanding of fabric inspection, shade management, fabric relaxation, numbering, bundling, and reconciliation processes.

• Excellent knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, buyer requirements, and technical SOP implementation.

• Ability to optimize manpower, machine utilization, and reduce fabric wastage.

• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.

• Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Knowledge of factory compliance, health & safety standards, and buyer compliance requirements.
