Job Description

Job Context

The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end Human Resources Operations function, ensuring efficient, compliant, and employee-centric HR services across the organization. The incumbent will oversee recruitment operations, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HR administration, HRIS, payroll coordination, employee relations, compliance, performance management support, compensation & benefits administration, and statutory compliance while driving operational excellence and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities1. HR Operations
  • Lead the overall HR Operations function across the corporate office and factories.

  • Ensure smooth execution of the complete employee lifecycle.

  • Develop and improve HR SOPs and operational processes.

  • Drive HR process automation and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Monitor HR service delivery through defined KPIs and SLAs.

2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Oversee manpower requisition and recruitment operations.

  • Ensure timely hiring of quality talent.

  • Supervise interview scheduling, selection coordination, offer management, and joining formalities.

  • Lead induction and onboarding programs.

  • Monitor recruitment KPIs including Time-to-Fill, Cost-per-Hire, Offer Acceptance Rate, and Quality of Hire.

3. Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Manage employee confirmations, promotions, transfers, resignations, and separations.

  • Ensure proper documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.

  • Maintain employee master data and personnel files.

  • Ensure issuance of employment-related documents including:

    • Appointment Letters

    • Confirmation Letters

    • Transfer Letters

    • Promotion Letters

    • Experience Certificates

    • Employment Certificates

    • NOCs

    • Salary Certificates

4. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
  • Coordinate monthly payroll processing with Finance.

  • Ensure accurate attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, and deductions.

  • Administer employee benefits including:

    • Medical Benefits

    • Festival Bonuses

    • Provident Fund

    • Insurance

    • Leave Encashment

    • Final Settlement

  • Ensure compliance with compensation policies.

5. HRIS & Employee Database
  • Manage HRIS and employee records.

  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

  • Develop HR dashboards and workforce analytics.

  • Generate regular MIS reports for management.

  • Maintain digital employee records.

6. Performance Management
  • Support implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS).

  • Coordinate KPI setting and appraisal cycles.

  • Monitor completion of performance evaluations.

  • Assist management in performance improvement initiatives.

7. Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Foster positive employee relations.

  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.

  • Conduct domestic inquiries when required.

  • Organize employee engagement programs.

  • Support employee wellness initiatives.

  • Promote organizational culture and company values.

8. Learning & Development
  • Identify training needs.

  • Coordinate internal and external training programs.

  • Maintain training records.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness.

  • Support leadership development initiatives.

9. Compliance & Industrial Relations
  • Ensure compliance with:

    • Bangladesh Labour Act

    • Bangladesh Labour Rules

    • Company Policies

    • Factory Compliance Requirements

    • Audit Requirements

  • Coordinate internal and external HR audits.

  • Maintain statutory records and registers.

  • Liaise with government authorities where required.

10. HR Analytics & Reporting

Prepare and present reports including:

  • Headcount

  • Attrition

  • Recruitment Dashboard

  • Leave Analysis

  • Overtime Analysis

  • Productivity Reports

  • Diversity Metrics

  • Employee Turnover

  • Absenteeism

  • Training Effectiveness

  • HR Cost Analysis

  • Monthly HR MIS

  • Management Reports

11. Policy & Process Improvement
  • Develop and review HR policies and procedures.

  • Identify operational improvement opportunities.

  • Implement HR best practices.

  • Drive Lean HR initiatives.

  • Lead HR digital transformation projects.

12. Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor the HR Operations team.

  • Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance.

  • Coach and develop team members.

  • Foster a high-performance and customer-focused HR culture

Experience

  • At least 8 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Telecommunication, Garments, Textile, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Group of Companies, Packaging Industry, Garments Accessories, Tiles/Ceramic, Spinning

Education

    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management

PGDHRM will provide an advantage.

Additional Requirements

  • Age At least 32 years
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial HR role.

  • Experience in a large manufacturing or electronics company is highly preferred
