Agricultural Officer
Job Description
Agriculture (Crop Production):
Assist in planning and execution of seasonal crop production.
Monitor crop growth, yield, and quality.
Provide technical support to farmers on cultivation, fertilization.
Ensure implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
Coordinate harvesting and supply to processing units.
Conduct regular field visits.
Build strong relationships with farmers.
Maintain production records, reports, and data analysis.
Identify risks (weather, disease, water quality) and take corrective actions.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and factory teams.
Ensure compliance with company standards and sustainability practices.
Experience
- At most 1 year
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Poultry, Fisheries
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
Additional Requirements
- Age At most 30 years
Willingness for self-development and career progression in the Agriculture, Fisheries, Feed & Poultry industry.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Be hard-working, have a positive attitude towards working in a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
