Job Context

Nishi Salvage & Diving is a leading marine engineering, commercial diving, salvage, and underwater inspection company based in Chattogram. We are looking for a motivated and energetic Naval Architect to join our team as an Operations Manager. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate will be trained to manage commercial diving operations, underwater inspections, salvage projects, and marine service activities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage commercial diving and underwater operations.

  • Assist in planning underwater class inspections, hull inspections, and underwater maintenance.

  • Coordinate salvage, wreck removal, and emergency marine operations.

  • Liaise with ship owners, port authorities, classification societies, and clients.

  • Prepare project plans, work schedules, reports, and technical documentation.

  • Coordinate mobilization of diving personnel, equipment, and vessels.

  • Attend vessels in Open Sea and outer anchorage for jobs.

  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and international diving standards.

  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.

  • Assist in preparing quotations, technical proposals, and tender documents.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients for smooth project execution.

  • Perform vessel visits and attend client meetings when required.

Experience

  • At most 4 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Marine Industry
  • Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Education

    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering

Additional Requirements

  • Age 24 to 35 years
  • Only Male

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel to ports, shipyards, and offshore locations.

Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Basic knowledge of ship structures and marine engineering.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple assignments.

Good command of written and spoken English.

A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
