Chemistry Teacher - O/A Level

Key Responsibilities – Chemistry Teacher (O Level/A Level, Edexcel Curriculum)

• Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to O Level and A Level students in accordance with the Pearson Edexcel curriculum and assessment standards.

• Develop comprehensive lesson plans, schemes of work, laboratory activities, and instructional materials aligned with Edexcel learning outcomes.

• Plan, supervise, and conduct practical laboratory sessions while ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and laboratory protocols.

• Design, administer, assess, and grade assignments, classwork, practical assessments, tests, and examinations using Edexcel marking criteria. Rostering and exam-related responsibilities.

• Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and exam preparation support to help students achieve excellent results in O Level and A Level examinations.

• Continuously monitor student progress, maintain accurate academic records, and implement strategies to improve learning outcomes.

• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students` academic performance, attendance, and overall development.

• Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, professional development programs, school events, and extracurricular activities.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, disciplined, and student-centered classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and independent learning.

• Integrate modern teaching methodologies, educational technology, and differentiated instructional strategies to enhance student engagement and achievement.

• 2 to 4 years

• Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry
• North South University,BRAC University,American International University Bangladesh,University of Dhaka,Jahangirnagar University students will get preference
