Senior Manager - SCM & Commercial
Job Description
1. Global Procurement
• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier identification, qualification, evaluation, development, and performance management for all footwear raw materials across China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Indonesia, India, Thailand, South Korea, Italy, Turkey, and other markets.
• Own long-term global sourcing strategy, vendor relationship management, and annual procurement planning.
2. Local Procurement
• Manage local sourcing of packaging, chemicals, accessories, consumables, engineering items/MRO, factory operational materials, and local leather/synthetic materials.
3. Commercial Operations
• Full ownership of import/export, PI, PO, LC management, shipping and commercial documentation, customs clearance, freight, Bond License/Customs Bond compliance, HS Code and VAT regulatory compliance, and C&F agent management.
4. Footwear Raw Material Knowledge
• Apply deep technical expertise in leather, PU, PVC, EVA, rubber, TPU, TPR, textile, mesh, foam, insole boards, toe puff, counter, adhesives, threads, eyelets, laces, footbeds, soles/outsoles/midsoles, lasts, and packaging — covering specifications, quality grades, cost structures, testing methods, and supplier capabilities.
5. Quality Understanding
• Ensure incoming material inspection aligns with material quality standards, international physical/chemical testing methods, restricted substance requirements, and buyer quality requirements.
6. Cost Management
• Drive cost reduction, negotiation, annual cost-saving targets, supplier cost benchmarking, landed-cost analysis, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluation.
7. Inventory Management
• Apply MRP/ERP-based planning, safety stock and reorder-level optimization, and control of slow-moving and dead stock.
8. Logistics
• Coordinate international ocean/air freight, inland transportation, container planning, shipping schedules, and warehouse coordination.
9. Team Leadership
• Build and mentor a high-performing SCM team across procurement, commercial, import, logistics, warehouse coordination, and supplier management.
10. ERP Systems
• Drive adoption and effective use of ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Odoo, or equivalent manufacturing ERP) across SCM and commercial workflows.
Experience
- 10 to 15 years

Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering
