Job Description:
The Medical Officer will be responsible for conducting patient pre-screening, performing initial medical assessments, and providing primary consultations. The doctor will evaluate patients’ symptoms, medical history, vital signs, and risk factors to determine the appropriate next steps in their care, as well as assign medical diagnostic tests that need to be assessed before the main medical consultation.
Job Responsibilities:
Review the patient’s presenting complaints, medical history, medication history, allergies, and relevant lifestyle factors.
Check and interpret vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, weight, and BMI.
Identify red-flag symptoms and patients requiring urgent or emergency medical attention.
Assess whether the patient is suitable for consultation and services offered by the clinic.
Education
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
MBBS degree from a recognised medical institution.
Valid and active medical registration with the relevant medical regulatory authority.
