Job Context

Scandex Textile Industries Ltd., a reputed export-oriented textile and garments manufacturing company, is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced professional to lead its Compliance function. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership capabilities, sound knowledge of national labor laws and international compliance standards, and proven experience in managing buyer compliance requirements.

• Lead and oversee the overall Compliance function of the entire manufacturing unit.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance policies, procedures, SOPs, and organizational structures.

• Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, Bangladesh Labour Rules, and buyers' Codes of Conduct.

• Monitor and implement all legal, ethical, social, environmental, and workplace compliance requirements.

• Coordinate and successfully manage compliance audits conducted by buyers, third-party auditors, and regulatory authorities.

• Maintain effective liaison with Labor Office, Labor Court, Fire Service, Civil Defense, Department of Inspection for Factories & Establishments (DIFE), and other relevant government authorities.

• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with buyers, auditors, and external stakeholders.

• Promote a safe, healthy, ethical, and productive working environment across all departments.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through effective compliance management systems and best industry practices.

• Identify compliance risks proactively and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Prepare compliance reports, documentation, and presentations for management review.

• Protect organizational interests through sound judgment, integrity, and professional decision-making.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

• At least 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Group of Companies, Third Party Auditor (Quality, Health, Environment, Compliance

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management, Management

Professional Certifications (Preferred): Lead Auditor (ISO 9001/14001/45001), SA8000, WRAP, amfori BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, Bangladesh Labour Law, Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Fire Safety, RSC Compliance, Higg FEM/FSLM, ZDHC, and other relevant compliance certifications/training will be considered an added advantage.

• Age At least 32 years

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Compliance.\

Candidates having experience in Textile, Garments, Knit, Woven, Group of Companies, Export-Oriented Manufacturing, Bicycle Manufacturing, or Trading & Export Industries will be given preference.

Practical experience in handling compliance audits of internationally recognized buyers is highly desirable.
