Floor Supervisor – Ceramic Production
Job Description
We are looking for a responsible, energetic, and result-oriented Floor Supervisor to supervise day-to-day production activities on the ceramic manufacturing floor. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring production processes, manpower, product quality, productivity, process losses, housekeeping, and safety while ensuring that production targets are achieved within the required quality standards.
Supervise and monitor daily production activities on the assigned production floor.
Ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and production schedules are achieved.
Monitor manpower, productivity, attendance, discipline, and proper worker allocation.
Monitor process losses, rejection, breakage, rework, and wastage and take corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production, QC, Maintenance, Store, and Planning departments for smooth production flow.
Ensure proper handling and movement of greenware, glazed goods, fired products, and finished goods.
Prepare daily production, manpower, loss, rejection, and other required reports.
Ensure proper shift handover and follow-up of pending production issues.
Experience
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Glass & Ceramics Manufacturing
Education
- Diploma in Glass & Ceramic Technology
Additional Requirements
- Age 24 to 35 years
- Only Male
Strong knowledge of ceramic production processes.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve production targets.
Willingness to work in shifts.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
