Cashier - Super Shop

Ziska Pharmaceuticals Limited, one of the reputed pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh, is expanding its business portfolio through a newly established “Fair Price” Super Shop under its sister concern. We are looking for a responsible, customer-focused, and detail-oriented individual for the position of Cashier to ensure smooth billing operations, accurate cash management, and excellent customer service.

Job Location: Shofipur, Gazipur

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate POS systems and process customer bills accurately and efficiently.

• Handle cash, card payments, mobile financial services (bKash/Nagad), and other payment transactions.

• Maintain daily cash records and perform cash reconciliation at the end of each shift.

• Ensure accuracy of product pricing, discounts, promotional offers, and billing information.

• Provide professional and friendly support to customers during checkout.

• Address customer queries related to billing, payments, and offers.

• Prepare daily sales and transaction summaries as required.

• Maintain proper documentation of cash transactions and related records.

• Coordinate with Store Operations, Inventory, and Customer Service teams for smooth store operations.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter.

• Follow company policies regarding cash handling, customer service, and operational procedures.

• 2 to 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university

• Age At least 20 years

• 2–3 years of experience as a Cashier or similar role in a reputed super shop, retail store, restaurant, FMCG or consumer goods company.
• Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered with relaxed educational requirements.
• Experience in operating POS software and handling digital payment systems will be preferred.
• Strong numerical ability with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with billing software/POS systems.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Honest, punctual and responsible attitude.
• Ability to work in shifts and support retail operations during busy periods.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment.
