Job Responsibilities
- Perform RT-PCR, Real-Time PCR, and other molecular diagnostic assays.
- Conduct nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) extraction and sample preparation.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain PCR instruments.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory SOPs, quality control, and biosafety requirements.
- Analyze and interpret PCR results and prepare reports.
- Assist in validation, verification, and troubleshooting of molecular diagnostic tests.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and inventory records.
Experience
- 2 to 3 years
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Master of Science (MSc)
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or a related Life Science discipline
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 35 years
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a PCR or Molecular Diagnostics laboratory.
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Experience with RT-PCR, Real-Time PCR, nucleic acid extraction, and laboratory quality systems.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.·
Experience with infectious disease molecular diagnostics (COVID-19, TB, HPV, Respiratory Pathogens, STI, etc.).
Experience in assay validation and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with automated and manual nucleic acid extraction platforms.
