Deputy General Manager- Design & Development

Lead the Design & Development Department by planning, organizing, and supervising all design and product development activities to achieve organizational objectives.

Oversee Product Design and Development from concept through prototype, testing, and final production, ensuring quality, functionality, and customer requirements are met.

Manage Cross-Functional Coordination with production, quality, procurement, marketing, and sales teams to ensure smooth product development and timely commercialization.

Drive Innovation and Continuous Improvement by introducing new technologies, materials, design methodologies, and value engineering initiatives.

Ensure Project Delivery by monitoring project schedules, budgets, resources, and milestones to complete development projects on time and within budget.

Lead and Develop the Team by mentoring, coaching, evaluating performance, and enhancing the technical capabilities of design and development personnel.

Maintain Quality and Compliance by ensuring all designs comply with applicable standards, customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Optimize Product Cost and Efficiency through design improvements, material optimization, and manufacturing-friendly solutions while maintaining product quality.

Manage Technical Documentation by reviewing and approving engineering drawings, specifications, design changes, and other technical records to ensure accuracy and traceability.

Support Business Growth by providing technical expertise for new business opportunities, customer meetings, strategic planning, and new product development initiatives.
