Mechanical Engineer-(Washing Project)
Job Description
The "Mechanical Engineer" is responsible for supporting the planning, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment for the SNOWTEX Washing Project. The role ensures efficient project execution, compliance with safety and quality standards, and reliable operation of washing machinery and utility systems through effective coordination with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of production and utility equipment.
- Ensure optimal performance of utilities including boilers, compressors, pumps, blowers, chillers, steam, and water systems.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
- Coordinate with production and utility teams to ensure uninterrupted machine operation.
- Maintain maintenance documentation, daily reports, and equipment history.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution of new machinery.
- Monitor energy consumption and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, and project documentation.
- Use AutoCAD for engineering drawings and layouts as required.
- Perform other engineering duties assigned by management.
Experience
- 2 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Buying House, Dyeing Factory, Washing Factory, Developer
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Additional Requirements
- Age 23 to 32 years
- Only Male
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and textile machinery.
- Good understanding of steam, water, compressed air, and utility systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance tools, SOPs, and utility KPIs.
- Experience in project planning, installation, and commissioning.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical project execution.
- Knowledge of safety standards and maintenance best practices.
- Positive attitude, leadership ability, and willingness to work in a factory environment.
