Job Description
Good Neighbors (1991) is an international humanitarian, development and non-governmental organization with membership in General Consultative Status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). Winner of MDG 2 award 2007 and UNESCO-Hamdan Prize for Teacher Development 2024, Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) is operating 17 Community Development Projects (CDP) in 13 districts for child protection, education, health, women empowerment, income generating activities, DRR and Rohingya emergency response activities. Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) intends to recruit suitable personnel for the mentioned positions:
Location: GNB Head Office, Dhaka
Probation Period: 6 months [ Job confirmation/ extension of probation period /Job discontinuation based on performance evaluation of the probation period. ]
3. Contract Information:
Salary and Others: Consolidated Remuneration Tk. 30,000 (per month). 15 days paid leave excluding public holidays and training opportunities for career development.
Probation Period: 06 months (Job confirmation/ extension of probation period /Job discontinuation based on performance evaluation of the probation period)
4. Job Assignment in Brief:
a) Marketing, Branding & Sales Promotion
Develop and implement marketing, branding, and sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets.
Develop promotional campaigns, product demonstrations, awareness programs, branding initiatives, and marketing materials.
Manage digital marketing, social media, websites, e-commerce, and other official online sales channels.
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback and recommend improvements.
Promote products through retail and distribution networks, trade fairs, exhibitions, institutional buyers, and relevant online channels.
b) Market Development & Business Expansion
Explore new markets and sales channels for mustard oil, handicrafts, agricultural products, processed foods, and other cooperative and social enterprise products.
Develop and maintain relationships and strategic partnerships with retailers, distributors, wholesalers, institutional buyers, exporters, private companies, e-commerce platforms, and other business partners.
Conduct market, competitor, consumer behavior, and pricing analyses to identify business growth and product development opportunities.
Strengthen dealer, distributor, and retailer networks and support pricing, promotional, and sales initiatives.
c) Sales Monitoring & Business Performance
Monitor sales, product movement, inventory, customer demand, market trends, and marketing performance.
Prepare sales forecasts and recommend strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share.
Coordinate with production, procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
d) Reporting & Coordination
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing and sales reports.
Ensure compliance with GNB policies, company procedures, and donor requirements.
Coordinate with CDPs, cooperatives, social enterprises, private limited companies, production teams, and other stakeholders.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor, management, or Head Office.
Experience
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO
Education
Post Graduation in Marketing/ Business Administration /Management /Finance /Economics from a recognized university.
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 28 years
Age: Minimum age 28 years and maximum age 35 years (as of 30 June 2026).
Experience: At least 02 years of experience in relevant field in the NGO/INGO sector or Corporate/FMCG sector.
Strong knowledge of marketing, sales, branding, business development, and distribution management.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets, expand markets, develop business partnerships, and manage customer relationships.
Good understanding of FMCG, agribusiness, cooperative business, social enterprise, and value chain development.
Strong skills in digital marketing, market analysis, sales forecasting, reporting, negotiation, communication, and MS Office.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with knowledge of local markets and willingness to work anywhere within GNB’s operational areas. Relevant sector experience will be preferred.
