Job Description

Central Training Documentation & Data (Primary Mandate)

  • Own and maintain complete, audit-ready training records like attendance, training hours, skill matrices, certificates, and evaluation records—for both workers and staff.
  • Ensure all factory training data is captured and consolidated into the Group's centralized L&D system, following the templates, coding, and standards
  • Build and maintain the operator/worker skill matrix and individual training histories in the HRIS/training database, keeping them current with movements, promotions, and re-skilling.
  • Prepare periodic training MIS and dashboards (coverage, completion, training hours, spend, and effectiveness)

 Annual Training Calendar & Coordination

  • Prepare and execute the annual factory training calendar covering technical/skill, compliance, soft-skill, and functional training.
  • Schedule sessions, arrange venues and materials, coordinate trainers, and manage all training logistics.
  • Monitor execution against the calendar, track slippage, and escalate delays to the management

Training Needs Assessment (TNA)

  • Administer TNA questionnaires, competency checks, and skill-gap analyses in coordination with department heads, functional leaders, and floor/line supervisors.
  • Consolidate factory-level findings into a prioritized training plan aligned with Group L&D priorities and business performance data.

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Personally deliver induction, policy awareness, and selected soft-skill sessions across the factory.
  • Coordinate technical and on-the-job training with department SMEs across Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, Garments/Sewing, Quality, and Maintenance.
  • Ensure delivery reflects TNA outcomes, performance data, OD initiatives, and compliance requirements.

Compliance & Statutory Training

  • Plan, schedule, and record all mandatory training — fire & building safety, first aid, occupational health & safety, chemical handling, and PPE usage.
  • Maintain training records in audit-ready form for internal audit, buyer audits, and statutory inspections.

Onboarding & Induction

  • Run the new-joiner induction and orientation journey for both workers and staff, including policy, code-of-conduct, and safety awareness.
  • Coordinate with Recruitment and Admin & Compliance to ensure every new joiner completes mandatory induction before deployment.

Internal Trainer Pool & Vendor Coordination

  • Support the identification and development of an internal trainer pool from supervisors and functional SMEs, including train-the-trainer support.
  • Coordinate external trainers and vendors under the governance, sourcing, and budget framework set by the management.

Evaluation & Training Effectiveness

  •  Administer pre/post assessments, feedback forms, and on-the-job evaluations to measure training effectiveness.
  • Track and report skill-development and behavioral-change outcomes, feeding results back into the TNA and calendar cycle.

JD/KPI, OD & Change Support

  • Support factory-level awareness and rollout of JD and KPI frameworks, performance initiatives, and OD interventions.
  • Assist the OD team with targeted learning interventions supporting Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and change management communication.

Experience

  • 7 to 14 years
