Manager, Supply Chain
Job Description
Blues Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager – Supply Chain (Yarn Sourcing & Marketing) to lead yarn sourcing, procurement, supplier development, and marketing activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a reliable supply chain while expanding the company's market presence in the textile sector.
Key Responsibilities
Source cotton, polyester, viscose, tencel, linen, blended, and specialty yarns from local and international markets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with spinning mills, suppliers, and customers.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Monitor yarn market trends, availability, and price movements.
Manage procurement planning, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Achieve sales and marketing targets for yarn products.
Prepare regular reports on sourcing, sales performance, and market intelligence.
Coordinate with production, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in yarn sourcing, textile marketing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Strong knowledge of yarn counts, fiber types, textile manufacturing processes, and market dynamics.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Ability to travel for supplier and customer visits.
