Executive/Sr. Executive (Store), Transport Workshop

We are currently looking for an ambitious individual to join this team as an Executive/Sr. Executive (Store) for Transport Workshop.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall operations of the workshop store and spare parts inventory.
• Manage availability of spare parts, equipment and tools by providing cost effective requisition in order to minimize downtime of vehicles
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving and critical items.
• Control inventory costs and minimize wastage, pilferage, and obsolete stock.
• Maintain the safety stock & reorder level for the spares demand.
• Identify all kinds of wastage spare parts, equipment & tools at workshop and ensure disposal of these items as and when required
• Maintain accurate stock records in the inventory management system and physical registers.
• Issue spare parts and materials to technicians/workshop staff against authorized requisitions.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of parts to prevent damage or loss.
• Track warranty items, defective parts, and supplier return.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and store management procedures.
• Support workshop operations by ensuring the availability of required parts and materials.
• Coordinate with service engineers, workshop supervisors, and management regarding parts requirements and stock status.
• Issue spare parts and materials to mechanic as per authorized requisitions.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers regarding parts availability and deliveries.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory items and report them to management.
Assist during stock audits and prepare inventory reports.
Experience
- 3 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies
Education
Diploma in Power Engineering or Automobile Engineering. Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in a relevant field will be given preference.
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 35 years
- Only Male
Candidate must have experience in transport store.
Candidate must have to be energetic & dynamic.
Sound knowledge on MS Office.
Excellent report writing & communication skills.
Can do work under pressure.
