Instructor - Mathematics (Part-Time)
Job Description
Saic Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT) is seeking a qualified Instructor in Mathematics (Part-Time) for its Diploma in Engineering programs under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB). The selected candidates will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective academic programs within their respective departments, with a strong commitment to ensuring and promoting high-quality education.
Coordinate and guide the Students of the class and ensure class attendance.
Check the Lesson Plan if it is done according to the Syllabus and present the same to the section in charge for approval.
Counsel to the Guardians/ Parents as and when required.
Organize different Programs (Rally, Campaign, Cultural Program, Debates, etc.)
Take initiative whenever it is necessary in order to uphold the image of the Institution.
Take initiatives against any sort of disciplinary activities by any of the subordinates or students.
Supervise the Teacher - Parents meeting and Result Day.
Counsel Parents/Guardians regarding their children`s problems.
Conduct theoretical & Practical Classes as per Syllabus and College.
Motivate and counsel the students and their parents/guardians through follow-up to ensure 85% class attendance and to reduce dropouts.
Facilitate in-house skill training for the teaching staff.
Assist Department Head as per his/ her needed.
Prepare a weekly attendance report and submit it to the Department Head.
Prepare a lesson plan and semester plan at the beginning of the subject. Positive willingness for teamwork.
Any other task as assigned by the Management from time to time.
Experience
- 1 to 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University, College, School
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics
- Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 24 years
An experienced person in the relevant sector will get preference.
Strong computer skills.
Fluency in oral and written English.
Competent in office administration.
Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent communication and listening abilities.
Should have leadership, organizational, time management and multitasking abilities.
Experience in Relevant sector including Polytechnic institutes, College and University.
