Job Description

  • Assess as the eyes and ears in the Supplier PU’s and deliver cross function communication that raises awareness of potential issues ‘before the event’ that may compromise product safety, quality and/or delivery.
  • Ensure technical specifications and garment construction meet buyer standards.
  • Work closely with pattern makers and sample teams to ensure fit accuracy.
  • Train and guide production teams on machinery, technical adjustments, and finishing techniques.
  • Analyze production issues and provide solutions to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
  • Monitor pre-production sample (PPS) and size set approval processes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and safety practices.
  • Drive Sample development based on production feasibility
  • Ensure Right First Time (RFT) sample development & timely approvals
  • Strong capability about fitting / Pattern making and Sewing & Quality
  • Ensure on-time Fit Approved & buyer satisfaction
  • Work closely with Pattern Team / production, QC teams
  • Maintain proper documentation, keeping all sample records & follow-up Sample tracking.

Experience

  • 8 to 10 years

Education

    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile & Garments manufacturing

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 42 years
  • Good knowledge in Excel & PLM
  • Good knowledge of garment and pattern construction 
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Control Processes, current finishing and engineering techniques 
  • Very Good knowledge of sewing and fabric techniques as well as product safety and quality 
  • Maintain accurate documentation via PDM/PLM systems.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite, PDM/PLM (Product Data Management/Product Lifecycle Management)  
  • Good command in English, both written and verbal, especially in manufacturing and engineering              
  • Strong manufacturing knowledge, Quality Management Systems and 8D methodology.
  • Strong knowledge across woven, knit, sweater and accessories categories within the supply base.
