Medical Assistant
Job Description
Responsible for:
Provide health care services to the beneficiaries in the hospital and during health camps.
Responsible for maintaining the patient register.
Responsible for the preparation of requisitions during the health camp.
Maintain the medicine stock register of the medical facility.
Responsible for counseling the patients.
Provider advocacy on family planning services for the eligible couples.
Plan and organize the training program for the development and enter all family data/smart card IDs of the project.
Prepare rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each day.
Or the Indoor Patient Department
Supervised nutrition volunteers and support staff to ensure adherence to
protocols and service quality.
Conducted caregiver counseling on IYCF, hygiene, sanitation, and treatment compliance.
Ensured proper management and distribution of therapeutic food, medicines, and supplies.
Coordinated referrals and follow-up with community and outreach teams.
Supervised staff and ensured proper stock management of therapeutic foods and medicines.
Prepared daily, weekly, and monthly reports for program monitoring.
Activities:
Gathering personal information and medical histories.
Taking vital signs.
Administering medications if allowed by state law.
Injections.
Assisting the physician during exams.
Prepping patients for X-rays or other tests.
Explaining procedures.
Handling basic would care.
Skill and Competencies:
Educational Qualifications:
Educational Qualification: 4-year course of certified medical assistant training program.
2 Years of experience in the Rohingya context will add value.
