AC and VRF Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning: Install, set up, and commission VRF/VRV air conditioning systems according to manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.

• Perform system start-ups, including refrigerant charging, electrical hookups, and control system configuration.

• Conduct thorough testing and balancing to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for proper installation.

Maintenance & Repair:

• Perform preventative maintenance (e.g., cleaning, filter replacement, coil inspection, refrigerant level checks) on AC and VRF systems to ensure reliability and longevity.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical faults in AC and VRF systems using advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, pressure gauges, leak detectors).Identify and repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, motors, fans, sensors, control boards, and piping.

• Perform emergency repairs promptly to minimize downtime and ensure comfort.

System Optimization & Efficiency:

• Calibrate and adjust VRF systems for peak efficiency and performance.

• Advise clients on best practices for system maintenance and energy efficiency.

• Stay updated with the latest VRF/VRV technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.

• Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, time spent, and system performance data.

• Prepare comprehensive reports for supervisors and clients.

• Ensure all paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, regulations (e.g., OSHA), and environmental standards, especially concerning refrigerant handling (EPA certification).Maintain a safe working environment for themselves and others.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textile, Livestock, Amusement Park

• Diploma in Refrigeration and air Conditioning

• Age 20 to 40 years
