Engineer

1. Operation & Supervision of Systems

• Supervise proper functioning of the Nurse Call System, Hospital Television, ICU Monitoring System, and CCTV Systems
• Take over responsibilities from the previous shift regarding system operations.
• Provide close-up reports to the shift in-charge via phone.
• Check for normal functioning of all equipment and monitor any pending complaints.
• Ensure room temperature does not exceed 26°C.Monitor the Fire Alarm Control Panel between 05:00 PM and 09:00 AM.
• Supervise Operators and Technicians on duty.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Nurse Call CE rooms.
• Carefully remove dust from operating equipment.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system problems with necessary assistance.
• Provide technical support to Operators for troubleshooting and repair.
• Resolve primary faults and escalate major issues to the appropriate authority.

3. Reporting

• Prepare and submit daily activity reports.
• Complete handing/taking over sheets and submit to the Engineer In-Charge.
• Carry out additional requests as directed by supervisors.

4. Departmental Support

• Respond promptly to emergency alarms from nearby machinery.
• Receive maintenance calls at the FMD call center and route them to the appropriate personnel.
• Verify gate passes authorized for transporting equipment outside EHD premises.

5. Responsibility & Compliance

• Maintain regular watch-keeping in the Nurse Call Central Equipment room.
• Strictly follow the shift handing/taking over procedure.
• Do not leave duty station without proper handover.
• Follow FMD complaint-handling procedures.
• Complete job completion forms and obtain acknowledgment from the concerned department.
• Immediately report unsolved complaints to the Engineer In-Charge.
• Inform the FMD call center if leaving the duty place for an extended period (including complaint attendance).
• Perform routine and periodic maintenance of all systems and equipment.
• Keep equipment and technical rooms neat, organized, and clean.

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Hotel

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)

• Age At least 25 years
