Courier Service Provider (A Sister concern of Pretty Group)

We are looking for a proactive, experienced, and visionary individual to join as a Manager - Operations to lead a Courier Service Providing Company, which is one of the sister concerns of Pretty Group.

We are seeking someone who can build the operational backbone from scratch, develop systems, recruit and lead teams, and establish a strong nationwide delivery infrastructure. This is an opportunity to become a key decision-maker and foundational member of a growing logistics company.

Job location will be Head Office, Gulshan - 2, Dhaka.

• Design and implement an end-to-end operations strategy for courier and parcel delivery services.
• Build and lead the full operations team, including delivery personnel, warehouse supervisors, and logistics coordinators.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery operations, including sorting, routing, ensuring on-time delivery across multiple locations, and maintaining operational excellence.
• Establish SOPs, service standards, parcel handling protocols, and emergency support systems.
• Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure process optimization and cost control.
• Manage Agent appointment, rider hiring, training, and performance.
• Liaise with sales, customer service, and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare operational reports, budgets, and performance reviews.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure safety standards, compliance with courier laws/regulations, and risk management.
• Identify opportunities for technology integration and automation in logistics flow.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the top management.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies

• Bachelor/Honors

• Age At least 30 years

• Experienced in the Operations of any Nationwide Courier Service Providing Company.

• Communication skills in both English and Bengali, verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

• Be able to cope with pressure, flexible, and adaptable.

• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and proactive.

• Well conversant with IT equipment.
