Trainee Officer — Regulatory Compliance
Job Description
The Trainee Officer — Regulatory Compliance will support day-to-day regulatory operations with a specific focus on vehicle-related compliance matters managed through BRTA. This is an entry-level role designed for fresh graduates or early-career professionals seeking to build a career in corporate compliance and government affairs within a large conglomerate.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in obtaining and renewing vehicle fitness certificates, route permits, and driver licenses through BRTA portals and offices.
Maintain updated records of all BRTA-related documentation for the Group`s vehicle fleet.
Track renewal schedules and ensure timely submission of renewal applications.
Liaise with BRTA officials and authorized agents for routine follow-ups and document submissions.
Coordinate with the fleet management and logistics teams to gather vehicle information and documentation.
Assist senior compliance officers in preparing regulatory reports and internal compliance trackers.
Support the team in any new compliance areas assigned as per business expansion.
File and maintain physical and digital records of all BRTA correspondence and certificates.
Experience
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG)
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Education
- Bachelor of Law (LLB)
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, or any relevant discipline
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 22 years
Basic knowledge of BRTA processes and vehicle registration requirements is an added advantage.
Good communication skills in Bangla; working knowledge of English.
Basic proficiency in MS Word and Excel
