Job Description

  • Oversee overall accounting and financial operations of the company.

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and working capital.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts and financial records.

  • Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh VAT and Income Tax laws.

  • Prepare, review, and submit VAT Returns, Mushak Forms, Tax Returns, and withholding tax statements.

  • Maintain VAT registers, production records, and statutory documentation.

  • Handle VAT and Tax audits, assessments, and correspondence with NBR.

  • Monitor changes in tax regulations and implement necessary compliance measures.

  • Support management in tax planning and risk mitigation initiatives.

  • Manage product costing and cost control activities.

  • Analyze raw material consumption, production costs, and inventory valuation.

  • Ensure proper costing systems for ceramic manufacturing operations.

  • Coordinate with Production, Commercial, and Supply Chain departments for financial reporting and control.

  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities.

  • Develop and maintain effective internal control systems.

  • Identify financial risks and implement corrective measures.

  • Liaise with auditors, banks, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.

Experience

  • 7 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Sanitary ware

Education

    • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
