Fire & Safety Officer (Contractual)

Conduct regular fire risk assessments and identify potential hazards.

Inspect, test, and monitor firefighting equipment, fire alarms, hydrants, extinguishers, emergency lights, and evacuation systems.

Develop and implement fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.

Organize fire drills, evacuation exercises, and employee awareness programs.

Ensure compliance with Fire Service regulations, BNBC, Labor Law, and company safety policies.

Maintain records of inspections, drills, incidents, and safety training activities.

Coordinate with Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence and other regulatory authorities.

Investigate fire incidents, near misses, and safety violations and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure emergency exits, escape routes, and assembly points remain accessible and properly marked.

Prepare safety reports and submit recommendations to management for continuous improvement.

Certification in Fire Safety Management from Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence (FSCD) will be preferred.

Training on Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Fire Prevention, Emergency Response, or related fields will be an added advantage.
