Maintenance Officer (Grade I/II)

Responsible for ensuring that electrical systems, equipment, and installations comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NFPA, BNBC 2020).
• Conduct electrical compliance inspections of installations, equipment, and facilities. 
• Prepare and maintain compliance records, reports, certificates, and technical documentation.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations for compliance.
• Ensure proper implementation of electrical safety measures such as grounding, protection systems, and lockout/tagout procedures. 
• Perform testing of electrical systems and equipment. 
• Ensure safe operation of switchgear, transformers, motors, MCCB, and distribution systems. 
• Conduct routine inspections of: Electrical panel, Transformer, HT/LT switchgear, Distribution boards, Generator, AVR, UPS system, Cable & cable trays.
• Maintain Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Electrical load distribution, Test Reports, Inspection Reports.
• Ensure production machines comply with electrical safety requirements.
• Review machine electrical drawings, control panels, and protection systems.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance/Inspection schedules for electrical equipment.
• Create and modify electrical drawings (SLDs) using CAD software.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
