Job Description
Responsible for ensuring that electrical systems, equipment, and installations comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NFPA, BNBC 2020).
- Conduct electrical compliance inspections of installations, equipment, and facilities.
- Prepare and maintain compliance records, reports, certificates, and technical documentation.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations for compliance.
- Ensure proper implementation of electrical safety measures such as grounding, protection systems, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Perform testing of electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure safe operation of switchgear, transformers, motors, MCCB, and distribution systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of: Electrical panel, Transformer, HT/LT switchgear, Distribution boards, Generator, AVR, UPS system, Cable & cable trays.
- Maintain Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Electrical load distribution, Test Reports, Inspection Reports.
- Ensure production machines comply with electrical safety requirements.
- Review machine electrical drawings, control panels, and protection systems.
- Develop and monitor preventive maintenance/Inspection schedules for electrical equipment.
- Create and modify electrical drawings (SLDs) using CAD software.
Experience
- 3 to 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
