Position: Study Abroad Counselor (Malaysia, South Korea, Europe, UK, New Zealand, Balkans)

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and guardians regarding study destinations, universities, programs, scholarships, and career pathways.

• Guide applicants through the complete admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.

• Review and manage application documents, SOPs, recommendation letters, and admission requirements.

• Coordinate with universities, international partners, and internal teams.

• Assist students with visa documentation and pre-departure preparation.

• Maintain accurate student records and CRM updates.

• Conduct walk-in counseling sessions, seminars, webinars, and recruitment events.

• Follow up with prospective students and manage recruitment pipelines.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly recruitment targets.

• Prepare reports and updates for management.

• Management Positions

• 1 to 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Consulting Firms, Immigration and Education Consultancy Service, Immigration/Visa Processing

• Bachelor/Honors

• Bachelor's Degree / Honors (Preferred)

Preferred Certifications

• British Council Certified Agent Training
• ICEF Trained Agent Counsellor (ITAC)
• QEAC or equivalent international education certifications
• Certified Education Counselor Programs
• IELTS / PTE / English Language Training Certifications
• CRM or Salesforce experience
• Not Mandatory but preferred if any of the following Professional Certifications.
• British Council Certified Agent Training (ICEF / QEAC / British Council Education UK Certificate)
• ICEF Trained Agent Counsellor (ITAC)
• Certified Education Counselor (Canada, UK, Australia programs)
• TESOL/IELTS Trainer Certification CRM / Salesforce Certification CRM / Salesforce Certification

• Age 18 to 35 years

• 1–2+ years proven experience in study-abroad counseling or a closely related field
• Strong communication in Bangla & English (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; comfortable with email/CRM workflows
• Country portfolio experience for the UK/Korea/Malaysia/Europe/New Zealand/Japan is highly preferred
• IELTS/PTE/TOEFL score is a plus (not mandatory)Suggested Skills & Areas of Expertise for BAPO Counselors
• Study Abroad Counseling – Guiding students on country, program, and university selection.
• Strong counseling and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and digital communication tools.
• Comfortable working with CRM systems and structured workflows.
• Prior experience with South Korea, Malaysia, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, or similar destinations will be considered an advantage.
• IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, or equivalent English proficiency will be considered a plus.
